"Preorders are okay, but shipping updates could be better"
I’ve preordered from ebgames.com a few times now, it’s been a bit hit or miss for me. Most of my orders have shown up without any major problems, but I did have one game arrive a couple days late, and there really wasn’t much info or updates while I was waiting. It wasn’t a disaster or anything, but it was definitely frustrating when I was excited to play it on release day. Overall, I’d say it’s decent, but I really wish the shipping communication was better. 3 stars feels about right.

I was planning to order a couple of games, but once I got to checkout, the shipping fee was way higher than I expected. The total jumped up quickly, and it just didn’t feel worth it anymore, so I ended up leaving the order. The site itself was fine to use, but the delivery cost kind of ruined it for me.

I stopped in and the store was super clean and tidy. Everything looked organized, and the staff were friendly too. One of them basically said, "just let us know if you need help with anything," which was nice without being pushy. Overall, a really easy and pleasant visit.

The protection plan did help me out once, so I can’t say it’s bad. But it feels like the store used to be better at explaining how it all worked. This time it was kind of confusing, and I had to ask a few questions just to understand the terms. Overall it was okay, I just wish everything was laid out a little more clearly.

The site took forever to load for me, which got old fast!!! Trying to find games was kind of a pain, and the filters randomly reset on me twice!!! Checkout on my phone also felt clunky and not very smooth, so the whole experience was more frustrating than it needed to be!!!

"Exchange Was Easy, But an Apology Would’ve Been Nice"
I had to exchange a game I bought from ebgames.com because I ended up with the wrong one. The process itself was smooth, and the staff were relaxed about it. They checked my receipt, handled it quickly, and got me the right game without making it weird. I do think a simple apology would’ve been nice since I had to come back and sort it out, but overall it was way easier than I expected.

I’ll be honest, I half expected the “in stock” label to be some kind of bait-and-switch trick, because you never really know what’s going on behind the curtain with these online inventories. But nope, it actually was there and shipped like it said. Almost suspiciously smooth, honestly

I was trying to find a game and didn’t want to overthink it, so I just asked the staff. They pointed me in the right direction quickly and were friendly about it. My usual shortcut is if the staff knows where things are and doesn’t make it feel like a hassle, that’s a good store experience.

"used game showed up in rough shape"
i ordered a used game from ebgames.com, and it was in way worse condition than i expected. the disc was scratched up, the case was dirty, and it wouldn’t even install properly. i know used games aren’t going to be perfect, but this felt disappointing.

At first the deals looked good, like I thought I was about to save more than I actually did. But then once I looked closer, and yeah maybe I should’ve checked sooner, they weren’t really as great as they seemed. Some were okay, but overall it felt a bit overhyped

"Decent for sales and harder-to-find games"
I order from EBGames once in a while, usually when they’ve got a good sale or I’m looking for a game that’s harder to find elsewhere. The site is easy to use, but the regular prices can feel a little high compared to other places, and the used games aren’t always much of a deal. Shipping can also make it feel less worth it. Overall it’s not bad, I just wish the prices were a bit more competitive

EB Games was okay overall, no big issues really. I just wish there was more payment choices when checking out, like extra wallet options or a easier split pay thing. My card went through in the end so it worked, but it felt a bit limited compared to other sites I use.

I ordered a game and didn’t expect it to arrive so quickly!! The tracking email came through pretty much right away, and there was no messing around. The package showed up in great shape, everything worked perfectly, and I’m really happy with how fast EB Games got it sent out.

I got my refund without any hassle, which was a relief. I was expecting it to take longer or turn into one of those back-and-forth things, but it just went through. Kind of nice when something actually works the way it should.
